Ingredients:

  • 4-5 cloves of smashed fresh garlic
  • 4 tablespoons of shredded fresh ginger (about 3-inch piece of ginger)
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed lemon juice is best)
  • 2 tablespoon of organic honey (optional)
  • 2 cups water

Preparation / Method:

  1. Bring the water to boil
  2. Add prepared garlic and ginger to the boiling water
  3. Allow to cook for 20 minutes
  4. Turn off heat and let it sit for 10 minutes
  5. Use a strainer to separate the liquid tea content and lemon juice
  6. If desired, add honey as a sweetener to this delicious therapeutic tea
